Getting from the airport to the accommodation
Once in Malta, allow approximately one hour (by bus or taxi) to get from the airport to Cirkewwa Harbour, at the northernmost point of Malta. From here take the comfortable Gozo Ferry for the scenic 25-minute crossing to Mġarr Harbour, gateway to Gozo, and you are at your destination. The ferry service runs every 45 minutes during daytime and regularly during nighttime and carries passengers and cars.
Tickets for the round trip by ferry can be bought from Gozo on your return journey. A standard foot passenger fare costs only Eur 4.65, for a round trip. Car including 1 Passenger costs Eur 15.70.
Direct Transfer & Car Hire
We recommend you opt for a direct transfer by taxi or minibus, so that you board the vehicle at the airport and do not unload your luggage until you reach your accommodation in Gozo. We’ve partnered with a local garage to bring you preferred prices, including options for car rental. Please contact us for a quote.
Public Transport
Public bus service from the airport and main locations in Malta, to the Cirkewwa ferry terminal runs regularly on different routes. Please visit www.publictransport.com.mt for more information on available routes and fares.
